Characters

Here you will find those souls that make up the kingdom of Senoth and the realm of the Dragon Saint. NOTE: Those marked for adoption are characters from the original three stories. I will allow them to be adopted only by those who have written for the Dragon Saint extensively, or those whom I have written with in the past (such as members of the Edda of Rhye and Ariak).

Also, fantastic creatures such as Unicorns, Elves, Faerie, Vampires, Werewolves, and Dragons WILL be allowed, but only under two conditions; one, you have to abide by the already established characteristics of these races and two, you cannot have them be all powerful, just as the mortal humans cannot be. If you have any questions on the characteristics of these races, just email me and I'll explain them :)

All characters MUST be registered before they can begin gaming on the boards. Just email your descriptions in to the Administrator and await approval (which hopefully shouldn't take too long).
Bethany Duncan ~

(Administrator)The reigning queen of Senoth and the Dragon Saint. Bethany is the second child of the late King Gareth Duncan and Queen Lauren Duncan. She is of average height, auburn-haired, with grey-eyes that pick up color from her surroundings. She is exceedingly skilled in swordsmanship and other forms of fighting, and is a superb horseman. Contact Bethany at bethanydun@yahoo.com

Vincent Winterhall ~

The second son of King Adrien Winterhall of Gand, Vincent is Bethany's love. He has black hair and blue eyes, and is also a superb swordsman and horseman. Contact Vincent at ashandra_2000@yahoo.com

Arhyn ~

The sorceress Arhyn has powers, most of which are unknown, granted on her by her past contact with a newborn unicorn. As such she is cloaked in mystery and is revered. She served Bethany's father and now serves Bethany as a very good friend and mentor, almost a second mother. This character is up for adoption. To adopt, email me here.

Lord Marshall Isaac Patrick ~

Isaac Patrick is the lone surviving soldier who served directly with Bethany in the War of Five Kingdoms. He has since been promoted, commended, and named Lord Marshall. Tall and thickly built, he has long blonde hair and green eyes. He is fanatically loyal to the Senoth throne, and is efficient in his duties. This character is up for adoption. To adopt, email me here.

Lion ~

Lion is the constant companion of Arhyn. He is nearly always in her company. He is very quiet and reserved, soft-spoken. He is a Fairie, and resmbles a human man of average size with a feline-like face and striped hair. He holds some latent magic but very rarely uses it. This character is up for adoption. To adopt, email me at here.

Desen ~

Desen is one of Bethany's good friends, and an elf. As such he is immortal and drawn to mortality. He stands a few inches taller than Bethany, and has long silver hair that falls well down his back. He wields a longbow. This character is up for adoption. To adopt, email me at here.

Tranci ~

Tranci is Desen's love (it is unclear whether or not they are married, though they live together). She, as an elf, is also immortal and drawn to mortality. She has long dark gray hair and weilds no known weapon. Contact Tranci here.

Jeriko ~

Jeriko is the head of a performing troupe that travelled with Bethany for a time. He is middle-aged and kind, with a good sense of humor. He has one known daughter and may or may not be married. This character is up for adoption. To adopt, email me at here.

Jolinda ~

Jolinda is Jeriko's daughter, and is of an age with Bethany. She has long black hair and is rather gyspy in appearance. She is part of her father's performing troupe. This character is up for adoption. To adopt, email me at here.

Dugan ~

Dugan is rather pasty-faced and heavy set, and is unimpressive physically save his girth. He is set on destroying or capturing anything magical, in order to earn its power for himself. He is an old enemy of Arhyn's and a new enemy of Bethany's. To Contact Dugan, mail to bethanydun@yahoo.com

Cerewyn ~

Cerewyn the Huntress is the protector of nature. She is 5'6" in height, slender with long blond hair that reaches to her waist. Her eyes are piercing when they look upon someone, and their shade could be considered as green as the grass. She wears a simple long sleeved green dress that hugs her slender body, but the skirt is loose and hangs down to midthigh in length. Four slits are within the skirt to allow for swift running or jumping in order to chase down her quarry.

She is never seen without her bow in hand and a quiver of arrows strapped upon her back. She is the huntress and immortal, but unlike her fellow immortals she does not hold the thrall that humans usually do upon them. She in fact has a deep hatred for humans for it is they that destroy and murder the animals and the forest when it is not a necessity. Cerewyn has often stood in front of the poor deer that is used as sport for bored humans and pierced their own hearts with her arrow. In fact there are only a couple of humans that she holds respect for. One is Queen Bethany for she holds the allegience of the immortals and they hers, the other is Arhyn for she is tied with the mortal Unicorn and as he protects her from danger, Cerewyn protects the Unicorn.

To say that Cerewyn is an Elf would be wrong, and to say that she is Fae would also be wrong. In fact Cerewyn is both, the product of an Elven father and a Faery for a mother. She has unnatural speed and her aim is always true. Cross Cerewyn and you will soon be taking your last breath. To contact Cerewyn, click here

Bethany's siblings will only be adopted out under special request. If you have a desire to adopt any mentioned character not listed here, or if you have an idea for your own creation, email me with the details, here.

NPC'S

NPC's, or Non-Player Characters, are characters that are brought in to fill out a PC's life and/or scene. They are generally free use, with a few exceptions. You cannot use someone else's NPC if it is essential to their character; for example, their love, their parents or children, or their closest friends. If you do this, it will directly affect a PC. The usual ettiquette is to have that person play their NPC in reaction to yours, or to ask them and gain permission to use their NPC. You cannot use any of the NPC's in a way contrary to their character; if the tavernkeeper has been used as one person as loudmouthed and angry, you cannot use the same and make him softspoken and calm. Each of the seperate boards in the DS game have a caretaker NPC, which are listed below. The caretakers are generally played by the moderator of that board.

Senoth Castle = Harland the Gatekeeper. Harland is in his fifties, in shape, and generally suspicious. It is his duty to make sure no one gets in or out of the gates that isn't supposed to, and he takes his duties VERY seriously.

Captial City = Capital City has two different caretakers in the boards related to it; one at the Cathedral and one at the Royal Pheasant.

The Royal Pheasant = Lorilee Caelyn. Lorilee is a woman of social standing, and is usually impeccably coiffed and dressed. She has a kind if sometimes aloof manner, and keeps her inn as impeccable as herself. She is in her thirties, with dark brown hair and crisp green eyes.

The Cathedral = Bishop Rupert Gregoire. Bishop Gregoire is a devout and pious man in his thirties. He is thin featured and thin haired, with a soft-spoken and yet vehement manner. He is always willing to do for those in need.

Oren Forest = The Mortal Unicorn and his mate. The Unicorn patrols the forest and keeps those within it, animals and men alike, as safe as he's able. He is rarely if ever seen, and it is even more rare to see him and his mate Txina in company, though they are always close to each other. He is the size of a large cart horse, with silky auburn fur and silver metal hooves. His horn is of gold, and is nearly four feet long. Txina is smaller and more delicate, a light beige color with both hooves and horns golden, and blue eyes.

The Far Harbor = Wedge Karrigan. Wedge is the harbor master, and has a brisk, no nonsense, get things done attitude. He is rough and calloused, but does have a soft spot or two. In height he stands barely five feet tall, but he is a tremendous fighter and suffers none for his lack of size. He has graying black hair and rough whiskers, and usually wears a band knotted around his forehead. He is fully loyal to the crown.

Grunter's Bowry = Syrus Grunter. Syrus is a round, pleasant faced man with a perpetual look of mild suspicion. His eyes are a nondescript brown, his hair gray and sparse. He always seems to sweat, and is not above taking gold under the counter for information or not quite legal goods. The Farms = Because of its nature as a large and diverse area, there is no one caretaker for the farms.
