betchadupa are a band that hails from Auckland, New Zealand.


RUA
betchadupa consists of a sprinking of Liam Finn (vocals, 
guitar, keyboards), a dollop of Matt Eccles (drums), a 
smattering of Joe Bramley (backing vocals, bass) and
 a dash of Chris Garland (guitar).


TORU
betchadupa released a self titled EP in February 2000, on 
New Zealand's, Flying Nun Records. They  released
their second EP, the 3DEP, in January 2001. betchadupa's
debut album "The Alphabetchadupa" was released in May 2002.

betchadupa were formerly known as Lazy Boy, until an 
unfortunate "spring in the rump accident".
 [Translation: Chris got a spring in his arse.]


WHITU
They often gig around New Zealand but have ventured
over to Australia and have plans to tour further afield
in the future..

Both Matt and Liam are rumoured to belong to the "I have a famous 
muso dad" club.

The Empty Head video features Liam doing his best David 
Beckham impersonation, sarong and all.
