Jesus asked his Peter who they say he is, they response that he is Messiah. Jesus hears his answers but tells him that he doesn’t understand the meaning of Jesus’ messiahship. In return Jesus compares Peter to Satan.
If Jesus asked me who I think he is I would have to think hard about my answer. To me Jesus was more then a man blessed by God on earth. He in each one of us all time. He shows when we do something good and helps us when we are in need. He is what drives us to proclaim what he did to save us from our sins. Jesus is in everyone. He is in the parent that drives his son an hour to Ellisville for a baseball game. He is in the man that stands outside in the cold ringing a bell for the Salvation Army. Jesus is everywhere care for another is shown
So my answer to the questionof "Who do you say that I am" would have to be Love. Jesus is love because Love is what we show when we show his example to the world. When we show Jesus' example we becomemore connected to him in through Love
The image below show is a picture of Jesus healing the lame man who is lowerd down though the roof by his friends to be healed by Jesus. This is one of my favorite Jesus healing stories because it shows the ultiment love for Jesus by the man and his friends, they wanted him and loved him so much that they crawled on a roof removed roof titles and lowerd the lame man down. Jesus, then shows he's ultiment love for the man by healing him.
