#1 What is the one key idea of this chapter. pay attention to the title of the chapter

One key idea that stands out to me in this chapter is the relationship between God/Jesus and the people of the world. The chapter shows the many ways that God and Jesus helped the people. The relationship has been weakened and streghened over time. God has always done his best to make the relationship as strong as possible, he even gave his own son for us. The relationship has been weakened because of the free will and choices of mankind.

#2 Write about two major ideas you want to remember. Write a short paragraph on each clearly stating the idea and then telling why you want to remember it.

I would like to remember the convent made by God and Abram. I would like to remember this because it was the first connection or accord between God and his chosen people. Jesus renewed this covenant when he gave his life for us. The covenant also reminds of our connection to Judaism. Realizing our connection to Judaism is another idea I would like to remember. I believe that in order to fully understand Christianity we need to understand our roots in Judaism.

#3 One image that captures the chapter for you.

#4 One significant question you have from this chapter. It can be intellectual or personal.

One question that I have would like to learn or have a better understanding of is if the God in the Old Testament is the same God in the New Testament. I have found from my scripture readings that there is a difference between the God figures in both books. The Old Testament God seems to be more violent and destructive. While the New Testament God is much more gentile and gracefully.

#5 Do one of the "Living the Gospel" questions at the end of the chapter. Write out the question, reflect upon it and write out your answer.

(#2)The world will be different to because of me if I can help and care for as many people as possible because I have found that so far in my life people are more likely to return the lovely and care to another person and they will do the same. So the amount of good you can put out in the world, you will make it that much better of a place. For Example, I work at a CSP project called K.E.E.N (Kids enjoy exercise now) where we do a series of athletic activates with children who suffer from autism. Not only does it give the parents a break but also it makes the children’s world a little bit better.
