What is the one key idea of this chapter. pay attention to the title of the chapter!

The key idea for chapter six is “called to community” We as the people of the Christian faith have always been called to a community even before the council of Jerusalem. Jesus calls us to come together every Sunday to celebrate mass. By celebrating his love on Sunday we come together as a community not just in our parish church but all over the world celebrating a common love and following of God. Loving God in a community is better easier because you are surrounded be people who he the same as you

Write about two major ideas you want to remember. Write a short paragraph on each clearly stating the idea and then telling why you want to remember it.

A major idea that I would like to is Mary was a great model of Christian Discipleship. Mary was the mother of God on earth. She showed the ultiment following by giving her body and safety even because giving birth in the time of Jesus wasn’t what it is today. She gave her body to a mysterious God. She watched her beloved son grow, prech, suffer, and die and never waverd in her faith in God unlike some of Jesus’ disciples. We can use Mary as an example of a divine woman with a brick wall type faith in God.
Another idea that we should take from this chapter is the knowledge of the martyrdom of Franz Jaegerstaetter. Franz was a Austrian poor child who grew up in the town of St. Radegund. In his early years Franz was involved in neighborhood gangs that would drink and fight other gangs. He worked in a iron miner and attendided mass daily. This started to change him and lead him to exprecince a metanioia. He quite his gang and turned to a life of prayer and farming with his parents. The Nazi invasion in 1943 had deeply conflicting views with Franz and he resisted them and stood up for his true Christian beliefs and was martyered in Berlin, but he never took back his faith. We need to remember this modern martyr as an example of on wavering faith in God
One image that captures the chapter for you.

One significant question you have from this chapter. It can be intellectual or personal.
One question I would have from this chapter is how did it feel to be Mary seeing your son suffer and die in front of you and then knowing that you have to be strong and not give up in her faith
