Welcome to the Lively Lungers Lounge Web Site

The Lively Lungers Lounge is a group on Yahoo made up of COPD patients and caregivers to those that have COPD. COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) is a progressive disease but with all diseases, we continue to live our lives as productively as we are able and one way we have found to accomplish this is to have fun. We share stories, poems, graphics, and jokes, while lending support and prayers for one another.

Our group was started in December of 2003, with a few close friends and has grown to one hundred. All of our members are subscribers to a much larger COPD Support group at www.copd-support.com where we receive not only support on a daily basis but valuable information about our disease for ourselves and to share with the public in general. We are not health professionals but patients and caregivers sharing a common disease.
