Leonard Bernstein is my hero.  The greatest American conductor to ever grace the podium, Bernstein gained the world's respect over night.  He then went on to touch the hearts of many with his musical expressiveness.   It's amazing how someone can be loved all over the world through his music and conducting.

Alexei Yagudin is another person I consider to be a hero.  I do not ice skate.  But what he stands for is perfection.  In the past he has executed shows flawlessly.  Seeing him do that makes me want to work harder at what I do.  It makes me want to strive for the unatainable. That I love.

I can never forget Bugs!  He's seen here doing the famous spoof of Leopold Stakowski.
For my boys back home....
Leopold! Leopold! Leopold!
Le..Le... Leopold!
