  Welcome to MY WorldMy name is Rebecca. Here is me in about 20 words: weird, different, thespian, dancer, intelligent, creative, poet, catholic, singer, nerd, WAIT why am i doing this? A collaboration is not necessary. So I'll just go into detail.... It was a cold day January the 6th..blah blah blah..and I was born. From the start of my life I grew up in a large loving family being the 4th out of 5 children, my parents and older sibling took very good care of me. Even from the start, I use to make up puppet shows and skits, and which ever household had just bought a refrigerator or washer/dryer me and my friends would use it for a stage or play house. Also, my parents helped me grow in my strong faith in God and my religion, and today I am a strong practicing catholic. I have also never really minded going to school, however I have also wished to get it over with. But I have attended Westminster Ele., and McKinley Middle Magnet, and in my opinion have gotten a wonderful education so far. I attended high school at BRMHS home of the Fighting BULLDOGS. Senior year I was voted MOST CLASS SPIRIT by my peers (thank you all *tear*). I love to be on stage whether it's dancing or acting and I was an active member of my school thespian troupe for 3 years. I was enrolled in the play production 2 advanced(play 2A)class for 2 years at BRMHS, works include "Up the down staircase", "Your a good man, Charlie Brown", "Antigone", "The mouse that Roared", and "The Miracle Worker". Along with 5 cabaret shows AND in 2001 I was given the award for best drama student. Inside and outside of school I had regular dance classes (jazz, tap, ballet/lyrical, and toe), and took dance for 15 years. Once a year our dance and drama classes got together to put on a play for the public and for local elementary schools. For two years (‘99-’00, ’00-‘01 ) we performed a play we wrote called "The Enchanted Swan" or more commonly called by the people in it "Duck Pond", it is a combination of Swan Lake and the Swan Princess. In 2002 we put together a production of "Cinderella". I have also lettered in both drama and dance, and still wear my jacket to this day. In high school, I served as a youth board member for my church's youth group and I currently a college youth advisor for another church. The summer of 2001, I traveled with some of the members from my youth group on a mission trip to Jamaica. It was a great trip! Anyways youth group was great! We take fall trips to different places, such as Orlando, FL; Chicago, IL; and San Antonio, TX. I attended and graduated Louisiana State University in Theatre with a concentration in perfomance and design (Ha! Go figure!). I was born a Tiger! and have stood true going to ALL the football home games and cheering for my boys till the bitter end! I have also been blessed in my life to find such a great group of students to hang out with at the Catholic center. I thank all of them for their warm welcome and good memories I always had at LSU. I hope to continue to grow in everything. And pray that I can help change just one person, just in the slightest way. Because I think that if we have truly touched someone’s life for the better, we have done a lot. It can only start out one by one. I have wonderful friends and a caring family and am riding life's roller coaster wherever it may lead me to. Bring it on! Anyway that is basically me! Just cruise the site! Stay a while!
