Illustration and Graphic Design have always gone hand in hand to me. These projects demonstrate what I mean.
This is the first of three maps for birdwatchers on the Texas Gulf Coast. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department teamed with the Texas Department of Transportation to produce the first of it's kind system of trails along the coast. A massive undertaking. I have been illustrating these maps for three years, the one below is the latest release and the last one is currently in my studio.
Free copies
are available from Texas Parks and Wildlife.
This was a project for my buddies at the Texas Department of Transportation. The map is of old trails in Texas, some prehistoric.
El Camino Real was the trail used by the Spanish. Remnants of it are still used today. Free copies of the map are still available from TxDOT Travel Division.
The Lower Coloado River Authority is Central Texas' power company. They wanted an illustrated map to promote tourism along the Colorado River. Sorry this one is out of print.
