We went with an elegant, moody atmosphere this year that these pics don’t capture. Some were taken down after the outside (tombstones and lighting) were struck. With the exception of the “green” skeleton (see below), the interior ones were taken with flash or with available light with regular house lights up—not very scary. Also note that the pictures show the reflection of the skeleton in a full-length mirror, not the skeleton itself. He appeared to materialize deep inside the mirror, then dematerialize on command. The green illumination on the skeleton was actually very subtle and eerie in practice, more tone than an actual color. The misting cauldron glowed green with a tinge of red. Jane and Charles were the only living bodies captured on film this year!
