| HI... My name is Jenniffer and I am 11 years old. I want to tell you a story about my Pappy. You see in January 2001, my pappy had gotten really sick and had to be taken to the hosptial. I didn't know what all was wrong just that he was really sick and my parents didn't want me to see him right away. They said that Pappy was in a very deep sleep and needed to have surgery on his brain and that they didn't know how long he was goin to be sleeping. Well they did the surgery and he was taken to ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and in there kids were not alot in the bedrooms. Oh I really wanted to see my pappy. I was starting to miss his warm hands holdin me when I was sad or hearing his laughter when I cracked a joke. 2 weeks went by and my Pappy was awake. I got to see him for the first time and it broke me into tears seeing him there not being able to talk or walk.. all the tubes in him really scared... but I had my mommy and daddy there to help me. I had to show him that I was strong.Then in such short time awake my pappy went back to sleep he went home to the Lord. To help me in this time I learned to sing a very special song written by the band Alabama called " Angels Amoung Us " Once you here it you will see that My Pappy is Angles Amoung Us. |

| Hi this was written to my pappy shortly after he went to be with God.. Today 3 years later I am goin to be turning 13 in December and I wish I could still have my Pappy there to make that day special. I know I can hear the jokes being made already, "OH Boy a teenager watch out all of you" ,, I know he is here with me and my family in our hearts and souls watching and keepin us safe. I will always carry you in my heart around my neck.. I love and miss you, My Pappy.. Love Jen |
