| What Colleen can do: ~~ Reading is going very well. She got the basics last year in Kindergarten, and is on track for first grade. Mom is going to test her over the winter break to see exactly where she is. :) ~~ Piano is going well also. Colleen started in August, and has already played in church once with Mom. She also took the Texas Music Teachers Association Student Affiliate theory test in October and scored a 98! |
| What Colleen likes to do: ~~ Play with Dixie. ~~ Write - she loves to write things - a lot of the things she brings home from school that she did in her free time are writing samples. ~~ Mother (or boss) her little brother. |
| It is hard to believe, but Colleen is a 3rd grader this year! She is going to school with Mom again this year, and that works pretty well. They start switching teachers for math and reading this year, so we'll see how that goes. She is still taking piano lessons, is back into gymnastics, and we are starting a Brownie troop (Mom is co-leading). Busy, busy, busy! |
