I am proud to have served in the U.S. Navy
from 1974 through 1980.

"Approximately 14 acres of U.S. sovereign territory." The aircraft carriers USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63), USS Constellation (CV 64), and USS Nimitz (CVN 68) berthed at the Naval Air Station, North Island carrier pier in San Diego Bay. The flight deck on each carrier is around 4½ acres.
