M R E: Mission Readines Evaluation. Ft Polk was the MRE
for this website. Overall, the evaluation was acceptable, but we still
have areas that need work.

Website focus:
With the Battalion website the photos were more action oriented, but with this site we are after pictures of people. We think you want to see your soldier, not some helicopters flying around. We will, however, sneak in a few helicopter pics. Lucy: For years I have announced my arrival home with a bad imitation of Desi Arnez's "Lucy, I'm home". The original intent was to let my wife know I was home and not scare her to death when I suddenly appeared out of nowhere as I came into a room. So, when you see a message on the Home page addressed to Lucy it is to let you know what we are doing. |
