Here's some pictures from this trip. The first four
shots were taken during our dayhike up to Ramses Falls at the
outset of the trip. The first was taken on the way; the next two
were at the falls; and the fourth pic was taken at the top of
the falls. The two shots that follow were taken the second day
out on the Forney Creek Trail. The great picture of Dave that
follows was taken on the Jonas Trail in which water covered most
of the trail. The next two shots are of our campsite the 2nd night
out. The photo of Barry and Shaun was taken the following day
on the Hazel Ridge Trail (now going back up to Klingman's Dome).
The picture of Jeff below the falls was taken on our way to our
third site.

The next four shots were taken at our fourth (and final)
site; this was after Dave and Bill had already left. I climbed
a tree and that's where 2 of the pictures are from (my view of
our site and Jeff climbing up behind me in which Shaun proceeded
to light Jeff on fire). One shot is of me in the tree (first of
that series of 4). Also there's a photo of a deer near our tent.
This was rather neat to have deer come so close to our campsite
while we played cards. The final 3 pictures were taken on our
way out on the Husky Gap Trail. Some great photos here really
show the lush, green foliage of the Great Smoky Mountains. This
National Park is thick with rhododendron and cold, fast running
streams that really make for a wonderful backpacking experience!
Also you may see some great wildlife!
