Clifty Wilderness in Kentucky 1996

Jay & Jeff on the Sheltowee Trace Trail

man, we look so damn cool

These are video captures from a backpacking trip Jeff & I took in the Clifty Wilderness area of Kentucky during May of 1996. Also this was also part of the Daniel Boone National Forest. We got the idea to visit this area after I spent some time in Kentucky on business. After driving through on the Mountain Parkway and stopping to see the Natural Bridge, I knew this would be a great place to spend a few days exploring. We went down for 5 days and during that time we saw a side of Kentucky we never knew existed until then. We saw few people and the forest was lush with new Spring foliage. It was absolutely beautiful. Click on the images below to see the beauty in KY.

This is me & Jeff below. We loved this area of Kentucky so much we decided to return the following year in 1997, and we took our brothers so they could experience it. They loved it as well.

This is me, Jay. I'm so wacky!

I look like Billy Corgan, right? This is Jeff.

If you would like more information regarding our trip or have any questions about this area of the Daniel Boone National Forest, please feel free to email me. If you enjoy quick trips in the wilderness or great weekend getaways, this is place!
