Note: I know that I kind of abandoned this story forever. Its because I was so busy with C&E and GB. I have sent part one for those who either don't remember or have yet to read it. So I hope you enjoy. Its sort of a new territory for me. Thanks. Caela~
Part Two
Buffy's stomach began to settle and allowed her to get up and walk around, feeling well enough to even dress and eat breakfast in fact. Though, when Willow and Giles arrived, they wouldn't let her lift a thing as they escorted her to Giles' car and drove to Buffy's mother's house like they had planned.
As they had suspected and knew for a month now, Joyce was gone for her early holiday break. She was "helped," to Buffy it was more like forced, to the couch and seated comfortably, and yet still frustrated.
"Can I get you anything?" Willow asked earnestly.
Buffy shook her head, whispering softly, "No, but thanks, Will." She smiled and sat there while her friends moved everything in from the car.
Buffy, although was watching the two do all the work, couldn't help but close her eyes every once in a while. "That's it!" Giles announced as he set down the last of Buffy's bags. She had only packed three bags, her clothes, extras and accessories in two and her backpack, but he was also bringing in groceries what she and Willow had intended to bring over.
"Feeling any better?" Willow sat down next to her friend resting a sympathetic hand on her knee.
Buffy nodded to reassure Willow that she wasn't nearing death or anything close to it. "I think that I am just going to go lie down for a few hours...No, you know what? I think that I'll just go to bed for the night. Its not *that* early. I'll see you guys tomorrow. Thanks Giles." She hugged Willow goodnight and walked slowly up to her old room with her hand on her forehead.
"Night!" Willow called after her, a little surprised at the comment. She couldn't believe that this was going on. He friend was going to bed early. Buffy was going to bed at four o'clock in the afternoon. This was shocking on its own. But then, thinking that Buffy was sick as well made her feel even more stressed over her friend's situation. "Giles, wasn't like the LAST and ONLY time we've seen her sick with the fever?" She still stood at the base of the staircase.
"Do you suppose that another evil force is happening?" Willow thought about his question for a moment.
Creasing her brow and shaking her head, "No, I don't think so. Not this time. Things have been just about vampires lately. And this sort of thing, making Buffy ill, isn't his thing." She moved to stand next to the mantel above the television. "Do you think that something might be...Really wrong with her if she is *sick*?"
Giles took off his glasses and inspected them. "I don't assume so." He began to rub at them with the hem of his jacket. "She seems to be ok. Why don't we give it another day before we start to worry ourselves about the demonic possibilities dealing with her illness."
Nodding her head, slowly, in agreement she pursed her lips. After letting out a loud sigh she started to walk towards the door, hinting for Giles to follow her. "Well, I'm going to get a nap in before Xander and I go out with Riley to patrol. It seems that Buffy is detained for tonight."
"All right. I will see you tomorrow then. Good night, Willow." He nodded his head and opened the door to walk out.
"'Night." She shut the door behind him and turned to go to the couch to lie down for a few hours before dusk.
