Angel's redemption is in qustion and on trial when fate's promises are taken in to play. The only problem is that Angel's future, vampire or human, is chosen by a jury. A jury made of his friends and loved ones. Concidering Angel's recent actions with letting Darla and Drusilla eat free, Angel's in a bit of a jam.

Jena's little "gift" is coming to haunt her in ways that don't make sense. At least until Feyrin, a Changeling that works for the Council, is ordered to do what he was destined to do; teach.
