Survey Questions:
1. In a recent interview the guys said they pop up like pop-tarts from the stage in the Black and Blue tour. The interviewer then asked them if they WERE pop-tarts what flavor would they be? Here's the verdict:
Howie- sexual chocolate
Nick- sensual strawberry (good thing I like strawberry pop-tarts, sorry :-)
Kevin- grape, he'd be a big, fat grape even in his own words (Is grape a pop-tart flavor anywhere but in Lexington, KY?)
AJ and Brian were not present at this interview. So on to the question:
If YOU were a pop-tart what flavor would you be and why?
2. Everyone has their own reasons for liking one of the guys the most. Tell us who's your favorite and why he's your favorite.
3. Now on to some serious thinking stuff. Nick, AJ and even Brian to some extent have had to grow up and mature in the public eye. Give us your opinion on how their maturation was different from someone growing up out of the public eye. (I.e. How are their views and emotions different because of it?)
4. Recently (right after Brian's wedding) Backstreet's Band, who had been with them forever, left them for O-town, saying they felt disconnected from the fans because they were either performing or spirited away in some dark hotel room. Tommy- the lead pianist- also said, " You go through intense emotions, one minute being on an emotional high from performing and the next feeling the intense loneliness of a hotel room." What do you think of Tommy's point of view in relation to the guys? (I.e. Do you think the guys feel the same thing?)
5. Who agrees with me that Pelvic thrusts should be illegal? Not good when the front row faints because Nick (or AJ) has been thrusting his pelvis at them.
6. If you found out AJ/ Brian/ Kevin/ Nick/ or Howie used Colgate toothpaste instead of Crest would you switch? You could both have the same minty fresh breath.
7. What's your favorite Backstreet song and which album is it off of?
8. What song do you feel represents Backstreet the most? Like you have to explain Backstreet to an N' Su... I mean Sync fan. Which song do you use to convey the message?
9. The guys say they've matured (I dunno, I saw Nick with the Silly String in concert in San Diego) and we agree. What 2 songs would you say have characterized their growth? (Going from beginning to present)
