Inspiration is a fragile thing ...
just a breeze, touching the green foliage
of a city park,
just a whisper from the soul of a friend,
Just a line of verse clipped from
some forgotten magazine ...
or a paragraph standing out from the
chapters of a book.
Inspiration ...
who can say where it is born,
and why it leaves us?
Who can tell the reasons for it being or
not being?
Only this ...
I think inspiration comes from the Heart
of Heaven
to give the lift of wings, and the breath
of divine music to those of us who are earthbound ...

The Lord is my programmer,
I shall not crash.
He installed His software on the hard disk
of my heart;
all of His commands are user-friendly.
His directory guides me to the right choices
for His names sake
Even though I scroll through the problems
of life,
I will fear no bugs, for he is my backup.
His password protects me.
He prepares a menu before me
in the presence of my enemies.
His help is only a keystroke away.
Surely goodness and mercy will follow me
all the days of my life,
and my file will be merged with His and
saved forever.
