The Scottsbluff Sodbusters, formerly knows as the Leesville Pelicans entered the American Postal Football League in 1988 with a big splash by winning the SuperBowl in their inaugural season. Nine years later they rose to the top again winning the 1998 Super Bowl 17-11 over the Northern Valley Pioneers. Sodbusters in a rebuilding phase now having suffered thru a 5-11 season in 2000, the teams worst record in their history. After 12 years in the piney woods of Louisiana the franchise was relocated to the panhandle of Nebraska in a region known as Wyobraska!!
