Bonnie Bernstein joined ESPN as a Chicago-based correspondent for SportsCenter in August 1995.
Prior to joining the network, Bernstein served as the weekday sports anchor at KRNV-TV in Reno, Nevada (1993-95) and for KRNV Radio in Reno.
Previously, Bernstein was the weekend news anchor at WMDT-TV in Salisbury, Maryland (1993), and sports and news director for WXJN Radio in Lewes, Delaware (1992-93).
Bernstein was graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism. While at Maryland, she was an Academic All-America (gymnastics) and received the Thomas M. Fields Award for academic excellence.
A native of Howell, New Jersey, Bernstein was born August 16, 1970.
