The 1.04 release of AFRICA
SAFARI HSL is now available here (sound/nosound). New and
improved: you can now kill your opponent's units; start locations have been
divided; improved healing and repairing speed. This version has not been
tested in multiplayer mode yet. 31/03/2003

Once again, an
unexpexted update. The version BETA0022 has been uploaded, with some
important add-ons: the Tome is now 28 pages long, more than 10000 words. I
worked day & night. Even last wednesday I wrote for 4 hours and at night I
wasn't able to sleep! Still thinking about the last strategy problem! Adept: Why? Is not baiting the counter strategy for fire concentrating? Master: If you retreat your unit the enemy has achieved his purpose: reducing your firepower by one unit. Of course, when you bring back your unit to attack you will regain your firepower, but the enemy will certainly target that unit again and kill it. In the period you were moving your bait back and forward, the bait was not attacking – as if it was dead – and the enemy did lose some time in order to change target, but regained it damaging the next unit. Baiting could be useful when the enemy does not micromanage the attack, or in a ranged vs. melee encounter. Read and enjoy, full-time StarCraft players! 04/08/2002
I updated the SST to
the last version (0018). There are some interesting news. Combat strategies,
quite good, some pictures. 01/08/2002 I updated the site as promised but it is only a formality: in this month I have been enjoying my holidays and did not proceed with my work. I just studied some attack strategies that I will post in the next days. Indeed I am taking a look at Warcraft III, in order to refine the SST.
