Glendale and the west valley is the fastest growing area in the state = (even more than the southeast valley by last report). This means that = they are now coming into control of an enormous revenue source that will = have great powers willing to help them in their elections. A strong = counter offensive will help out those that will take your freedoms = away,... win or lose. The computer ballot is a very big threat to = freedom (and why I'm doing what I am where I am) and the best thing we = can do is put on a big and really inexpensive show. Sign can be done = very cheap (shown that :) and really quickly to address timely matters = (shown that too :) and can be personally tarketed (ditto).
I look forward to what is to come. Hell when it is time I'll be an army = of one, as I hope you all will also be. But you will need names on the = ballot in Glendale. I know we have a couple but we need more. I want to = help but some people have to step up. Wining will be a goal but not the = primary one. Getting these statist authoitarian types to be jeered in = the checkout line at the grocery store is the goal. To have their inlaws = make fun of them at every family gathering is the goal. To make sure = that their names are associated with the likes of Hitler,Stalin & Mao is = the goal. Having their names on any party's ticket as a drain of support = in the future is the goal. Votes can't be counted on to be a determining = factor of support any more.
And one of the most important things,... is to have as much fun as = possible doing it :) This makes everything far less work and more like = play and your creative juices start to flow to the point that you can't = possibly enact all of the great ideas that you have. Oh yeah,... and = there are no forms to fill out :)
I can hardly wait!

Recently I sent a very neutral, non-inflammatory request for = information to each member of the Glendale City Council. It asked what = thought processes they followed in voting for or against any Glendale = ordinance on the prohibition of guns in city buildings. I asked ten = questions, having to do with "was there any outside influence"; "what = did you expect to accomplish with the ordinance", etc., and signed it in = a neutral manner without my RKBA taglines. From the mayor and two = councilmembers, I received replies to the effect that my letter had been = forwarded to the City Attorney and Plice Chief. In each case, I = replied with the question: "Why? I asked for your thoughts, not = theirs. Do they do your thinking for you?"
Today I received a reply from the City Attorney. Here is is for your = consideration.

Mr. Cline: =20
Because of threats of litigation from various persons over this issue, = I have advised the Mayor and Council that it best not to respond = directly to any questions about this issue and to allow all questions to = be responded to through this office, their attorneys.
Your initial inquiry stated you wanted to obtain some insight into the = legislative process by the Mayor and Council. If you have another topic = which is not the subject of actual or potential litigation, we can = accommodate your quest for knowledge. I do applaud your civic interest. = However, I hope you can appreciate the sensitivity of those issues = which, for one reason or another, appear to be headed to a judicial = conclusion. If your inquiry was specifically about the firearm issue, = and not just a general quest for information about the legislative = process, please let me know what information I can provide you and I = will make my best attempt to respond.=20
If I can be of any assistance, please feel free to contact me at = 623-930-2930.

Why? I didn't ask for his thoughts during the process. I asked for = yours.
