Several of the governing committee did discuss this with Jason before he ran for the ALP, Inc. board. He knew what would happen. He just though that he was trying to do something that was worth that price (and he may be right at that). In any case, he's welcome back when he removes the conflict.

I should also point out that this section of the bylaws was rewritten at this convention.
