You are using Microsoft Outlook Express version 5, build 2615, with service pack 2. The MS internet stuff isn't aways up to standards, but I think there is a newer service pack with lots of fixes. Check their web site.

Yes, I endeavor to be untraceable. According to a friend of a friend who is a PI, I've done well at that. As far as hit-and-run, I would probably never be caught if my ethics permitted me to do it, but they don't. And besides, I have that insurance to take the personal responsibility away... (-:

I want to hold them to the highest laws of the land. I do not care to argue about statutory law because once you engage them at that level, you have lost. I refuse to be part of the system not because I think it needs to be fixed or there are problems with it, but because I think it doesn't exist. Legally, anyway.

Exactly. I figured if I brought that up someone would label me an extremist. Not like that hasn't happened already...

>Is it a secret, or can you say how "foreign" these plates are? I mean,

>they from a foreign country, or are they just ... foreign? Like the plate

No, not a secret. For $235 you too can have them. I've dealt with a couple of people who broker these out of the Turks & Caicos. There are also some from Bahamas, and I saw a guy who got a set of Panamanian plates (expensive). All come with proper documentation also. Since my girlfriend went to Turks & Caicos island, I was able to verify that at least everything LOOKS exactly like the official documents and plates used there. I've heard lots of people say that they are fake and a scam. I guess there is no way for me to find out for sure (and of course, no way for the police to either).

>that says "Not Required"? Don't give anything away.

What is that? You mentioned it before. Really just a plate that says "Not required"? I like the in-your-face attitude. I may have to consider something like that for those days when I have time to get arrested.

>vehicle is untraceable and has untraceable plates on it you could just hit
>and run and your insurance rates would never go up because your company

Yep. Or I can get tickets and they'll never know about that, either. My ethics prohibit the former, but not the latter.

>You are going to a great deal of effort to do this, and I think you are
>doing it because (among other reasons) it is FUN to figure out ways to get

Fun in a sense, but more like learning about what is possible. Tossing the proverbial wrench into the cogs, even if it is just one guy (and everyone I can educate on the issue). It would be unconscionable for me to feed the system that I abhor. I had a tough time just getting the IDP, but it was a compromise I had to make if I wanted to continue to have a life and business.

>Just remember, if your vehicle had any kind of plates on it, it is now in
>some guvmint computer. They could be watching for you to set up round
>two.

Maybe. I've learned that the foreign plates can't be tracked on the state computers. I even blew off a ticket once to see what would happen (took care of it later). The clerk said they can't send it to MVD since it is foreign. The police tell me they can get absolutely nothing on it, no matter what. The feds might be different. Parking tickets are meaningless, even for parking in a gimp space (which I don't abuse).

>the witnesses' stories don't match up, or they appear fearful of speaking
>out, better count your ammo stocks. The bird has just hit the fanjet.

That's already happened, more than once. Damned if I can remember the specifics. I do remember a couple of police shootings where things never lined up, but of course, since they police themselves, we know what their "findings" are.
