Friends,

Below is information from Steve Dasbach, Libertarian Party National Director, about the upcoming Libertarian Party National Convention -- including an opportunity for a free convention package!

The convention is June 29 - July 3, 2000, in Anaheim, California.

If you're already an Arizona delegate or alternate, you may wish to consider the various packages and begin making appropriate accommodation and travel arrangements.

If you're not already an Arizona delegate or alternate and would like to attend, please contact me immediately to be placed on the alternate list. Alternates are placed on a first come-first serve basis by a formula approved by our state committee. At this point, I can virtually guarantee newly named alternates will be seated as delegates.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Best regards,

Peter Schmerl Chairman Arizona Libertarian Party, Inc.

Want to attend the 2000 Libertarian National Convention -- and get a convention package for FREE?

Want to be treated like a VIP while you're at the Convention?

Want to enjoy an upgrade to a luxurious hotel suite, receive an invitation to the exclusive Torch Club reception, and get special "front-row" seating at events?

You'll get that opportunity, if you enter the "Be a VIP!" convention raffle.

And even if you don't win, you will still save $30 off the convention package price. That's guaranteed.

But you must act fast: The deadline to enter the raffle -- or to qualify for the $30 savings -- is Saturday, April 15. You must register by phone, fax, or online by that date. Or, your mail registration must be postmarked by April 15.

The rules for the "Be a VIP!" raffle are simple, and one lucky Libertarian is GUARANTEED to win.

The raffle is open to anyone who purchases ANY package to attend the National Convention by that April 15 deadline. Register, and you're automatically entered. (Anyone who has already purchased a package is also automatically entered.)

Shortly before the start of the convention, one winner will be selected at random by the Balcom Group. It could be YOU!

If you win, you will receive a 100% rebate for the price of your convention package. For example, if you purchase a $339 Gold Package, you will be reimbursed for the entire $339. If you buy a $249 Silver Package, you will receive $249. And so on.

If you have reserved a hotel room at the convention hotel -- the Anaheim Marriott Hotel -- you will also get an upgrade to a suite for no extra charge.

PLUS: If you win, you will get complimentary tickets to the Torch Club Reception (normally reserved for the party's most generous contributors), and special VIP seating at any events included in your convention package.

If you're the lucky "Be a VIP!" winner, you'll be notified when you check into the convention hotel, and then a public announcement will be made.

What if you don't win? Then you still save $30 -- GUARANTEED. After April 15, the prices of the convention packages increase by $30. So even if you don't win, you still save.

Delegate packages include:

* The Gold Package ($339) which features a ticket for the Gala Banquet on Saturday night, the Thursday welcoming reception, two luncheons with prominent guest speakers, a special surprise entertainment event, all workshops and panels, and a Main Hall speaker Floor Pass. (Price goes up to $369 after April 15.)

* The Silver Package ($249). Includes a ticket for the Gala Banquet, the Thursday reception, a special entertainment event, workshops and panels, and a Main Hall speaker Floor Pass. (Price goes up to $279 after April 15.)

* The Bronze Package ($129). Includes the Thursday reception, a special entertainment event, workshops and panels, and a Main Hall speaker Floor Pass. (Price goes up to $159 after April 15.)

* The Delegate Package ($59, includes only Floor Pass for Main Hall speakers).

Don't wait -- register today! You'll either win the free "Be a VIP!" package or save $30. And either way, you will be guaranteed a ticket to the most exciting, most important, most invigorating Libertarian event of the new century!
