You silver tongued, sweet talking little desperado you. This'll sure make people wanna jump on the libertarian bandwagon. Did I say anything about jumping on the libertarian bandwagon? Hell, I hope they'll get of their butts and run themselves and take hard positions and stick to them. Or at least help a candidate more than with their keyboard. I do what I can to support anyone doing freedom's work, but find that the most supportive of the Republican party ARE NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. City of Glendale effort wasn't coordinated by libertarians, but were the majority in attendance. And where were all of the 70+ on this list? Wasn't important enough? Some of you may have had good excuses. But I'll bet that weren't good enough for my 4 children and my wife that had to run my restaurant without me. Those of you that pump up your chest with pride for being on a list that has a dozen or 2 dozen that will make an effort and write about it so you can forward it to friends and family here and around the country are of marginal benefit. I wonder how many times you would deny knowing us before the rouster crows should you be questioned by someone that would deny you some of your social standing. This morning at the logic and accuracy test - Libertarians. At the Federal Building dedication - Libertarians,... etc. What could possibly make anyone think that I would encourage people that pay only lip/keyboard service to liberty, to join an effort that can not waste a nanosecond on babysitting any of its own. Those that measure up know it, those that do not will spend a great deal of time and effort trying to convince themselves and others that they are part of the solution while they inflict not an ounce of pain on the enemies to freedom,.... and it doesn't even take that much effort. I know that this disarming of people that make use of public buildings is the beginning of yet more gun control should this be allowed and the bad guys respect nothing short of pain. The best and most effective (legal) method is elections (win or lose). A concentrated campaign on the issue of gun rights will force out the NRA as their excuse for doing what they do (they have given their consent). And the battle will educate many as to who the enemy really is. Show me a no compromise candidate on freedom and I will put every resource at my disposal in support of that candidate without regard to their registration as a voter. So bring 'em on,... no one willing to try and pull excaliber from the stone?.... Why? But try to get these "great supporters of freedom" that noone ever sees to support a candidate that repeatedly has not sold their rights down the river for a worthless endorsement and all I ever hear about is how we have to get behind the republican or the big bad democrat might win (as if there is a difference). So what's the excuse for the Kyl race this year? Their's no democrat! But where is the big support from the gun community for the libertarian Hess. Hell, Kyl voted for the crime bill and got an A+ rating from the NRA in 1994 and all I heard was that the Democrat would vote our rights away if he got in. Bunch a whining pussies that think I'm stupid enough to fall for their shit. And what scares the crap out of me is how many people do. So the reason every single one of the 70+ people on this list isn't voting for the Libertarian in the US Senate race is what?... they don't like Ernest Hancock making them feel bad about being weak hearted? So you see, I'm not about convincing anyone to "join" anything. I am only about helping anyone that wishes to be free, to free their mind from the control of others first. True libertrianism isn't about membership, it's about a way of thinking. I'll bust a gut helping people find where the light of logic & reason is but I'll not waste my time dragging them kicking and screaming into a philosophy where they have to think for themselves. Every election cycle I see the best and brightest 5 - 10 activist see the light (and voter registration has almost nothing to do with it) while ten times that number (getting down to 5 times that number in recent years) do nothing but bitch about how scary it is to be unsupported and unloved out on their own. No matter how wrong it is, they feel secure having support from others that will tell them in the press and in their doomed clubs and organizations that compromise is the only tool to success. But they never really define what success is, aside from getting more votes and putting a republican label on tyranny. I'm just rambling, and at no one in particular. So those of you that don't like me telling those that deserve it to, "Piss off, I was never wasting my time worrying what you thought anyway" either don't understand or are part of those that need to be told to "piss off". Those of you that are glad that someone has no remorse in telling party worker drones and clones to "piss off" either get it or are also like minded. Support those that support freedom,... or don't. It's not any more complicated than that (but many years of public education can make it seem so). Ernest Hancock
