Sigrun's Life in the WWII DRK

Not long ago, I discovered that I was a German Red Cross Field Nurse during WWII. My journey began when I started having visions and dreams of German soldiers running and fighting on the Russian Front. I was skeptical about the reality of these recollections, because I am a WWII DRK Nurse reenactor. I thought that they were simply the result of my readings about the Wehrmacht and its female auxiliaries, and my memories of recreated battles. But the visions were so real to me that I began to wonder if there was some truth to them. I was never a big believer in reincarnation, but did wonder if the phenomenon was possible. Since then, these recollections have become more frequent and vivid. In them, I can see soldiers falling amidst explosions, fire and smoke. They were very frightening to me and painful. I have also discovered that I served in the Ardennes Offensive with Colonel Joachim Peiper, and that he is my Spirit Guide. I don't know many specifics, like my name or birthplace. But I am determined to find out more about my life during this world-changing period in history. I have tried to push it out of my mind at times, and just concentrate on the problems of my present life, but the memories linger. I just hope that I did some good for the wounded and dying in the various field hospitals that I worked in. My sisters and brothers at the frontline deserve to remembered for their courage and personal sacrifices in the greatest armed conflict of the 20th Century.
