This just in from Concord, MA:
`At the office where I work, all of our AutoCAD drawings have title blocks
with spaces where the person who does the drawings and the person who
checks the drawings have to put their initials.  We recently hired a CAD
manager with the initials A.B.T. Ever since then, there have been an awful
lot of grading and layout plans floating around our office with the legend
"Checked by ABT".'

Toronto, ON:
The letters ABT have been sighted at the beginning of several new 
licence plates. I suspect this is because the number of characters on
the plates have just recently been increased to 7. So, since letter 
combinations are created using the beginning of the alphabet, the 
cropping up of those particular letters is natural. Or so it seems...

And perhaps most ABTly of all, those three letters have been seen on
Rollerblades, specifically, Spiritblade ABT (apparently, the initials 
stand for "Active Brake Technology"). Coincidence? I think not. ;-)
