INTRODUCING ME.... AVERY DOUGLAS JOHN!!!!
Ten days after the date I was due to make my way into the world (November 20th, 1999) my parents still saw no sign of me. After Mummy went in for a fetal assessment and a check up with her doctor, Mummy & Daddy were sent into the hospital so Mum could be induced. They arrived at St.Boniface Hospital at 08h30 on December 1, 1999 and labour truly began around noon. Little did they know that labour would be filled with all sorts of obstacles. It was a very long day for all of us, including all of the family & friends who anxiously awaited my arrival. The next morning I decided it was time for me to make my grand enterance into the world, but I needed help in doing so. Dr.Collister volunteered his expertise, along with many other wonderful doctors & nurses. I was delivered at 06h32 on December 2, 1999 via c-section--AND forceps! Everyone seemed delighted to meet me! What was I ever afraid of in the first place??!!
