On this web site you'll find the newest beta software for the Avermedia A771 DVB-T PCI tuner. If you choose to trial the beta software on here, then be aware there are no guarantees from myself or Avermedia about the reliability, stability or usability of the software. I am providing this software purely for the interest and trial usage of those people who own an Avermedia A771 DVB-T tuner.
I am in Australia (Melbourne to be precise), so I can only offer the hope that it will work for other users as it works for me. I have no idea if it will work for other regions around the world, you would need to download it, try it and let me know. Generally I try to give a couple of days testing to newer beta versions of the software (just for general stability and make sure it's not going to royally screw over the computer system) before releasing it to other users for their testing and feedback.
New Features / Bugs fixed:
User can now record when in Full Screen Mode (F11)
AC3 sound for Australian HD channels working
Download the files:
(right mouse click on the files and select 'Save As')
part1.gif - rename to 'part1.exe'
part2.gif - rename to 'part2.rar'
part3.gif - rename to 'part3.rar'
When you have downloaded all three (3) files, double-click the 'part1.exe' file and it will automatically unpack and give you an 'Avermedia DVB-T v1.3.60.2' directory with all of the new beta installation files. You can now delete the part1.exe, part2.rar and part3.rar files if you want.
Installation:
1. Go to the CONTROL PANEL, select the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS and un-install the INTERVIDEO SDK program.
2. Go to the CONTROL PANEL again and select the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS and un-install the AVERMEDIA DVB-T program.
3. Reboot your computer.
4. Go the to partition where you previously installed the Avermedia software and go to the PROGRAM FILES directory. Delete the "AVER TV DVB-T" directory.
5. Go into the "DVB-T-Ver1.3.60.2" directory, go into the 'Disk1' directory. Run the SETUP.EXE and follow the instructions.
