Flight Scholarships Available to Student Pilots

Many people are hoping to find a scholarship to fund their entire Private Pilot License. Unfortunately for those looking for such an opportunity, the chances are extremely slim! If that were possible everyone would be doing it, right? Most flight scholarships not administered via university/college aviation programs require applicants already have their Private Pilot License to be eligible to apply. (This demonstrates ones commitment to aviation to the party providing the grant.) Therefore, very few non-colleigant scholarships are open to student pilots and are mostly for advanced ratings. The awards listed below are some exceptions, but they have very limiting criteria and often do not cover the entire cost of the PPL.

National headquarters will provide reimbursement for the aircraft and its reasonable ferrying costs at the published CAPR 173-3 rates.
