Mirror: Whose that look for?
You: I haven't met him yet.
Mirror: Well when you do congratulate him for me.

This is the conversation every woman should be having with herself every time she looks in a mirror. Unfortunately, most women nowadays seem content on ripping themselves apart when they do that. 'I am too fat' or 'my hips are too big'...all about finding flaws in ourselves because we don't match up to the ideal that the media sets for us. You won't be pretty unless you look this way or act this way or weigh this number. I am here to tell you that is a total load of bull.
Its always easier to find fault with ourselves rather than giving ourselves credit. Instead of saying just 'my hips are too big', try saying 'they may be big but I have a narrow waist to add curves.'
Media sources are constantly telling us that we have to be waifish to be attractive to men or ourselves anymore; This is sinply not true. What the media neglects to mention is that people in the entertainment industry are paid to look that way and therefore must maintain a certain level of thinness. Are you being paid to look that way? Even if you were, would you want to? Which is more important, living your life in a healthy manner or being a size 2? And believe it or not ladies most men don't care for the supermodel thinness look. They'd rather have a real live healthy woman than a stick for a signigicant other. How do I know this? Surveys girls...tons of surverying.
Granted there are still times when I get up in the morning, look in the mirror and go "UGH do I really look like that?" But I remind myself that I am only looking at myself from one angle when I do that. Try a new angle and all of a sudden its "damn I didn't know my tummy is that flat!" Perspective ladies...its all about perspective. Think that you are beautiful, know that you are, own the fact. And when you do, trust me love and happiness are guaranteed to come your way.
