On
a whole, how do you feel about your year in gymnastics in 1999?
Did you manage to achieve all of your goals?
Yes, definitely. I gained experience and had heaps of fun.
Is
it difficult to see the senior gymnasts getting so much attention,
with the Worlds and upcoming Olympic Games? How do you feel about
that, since you know you dont have a chance to be there
due to the age requirement?
No way, Im glad theyre getting some attention.
They have achieved so much at Worlds, they deserve some recognition.
Do
you agree with the age limit of 16 for senior international competition?
Yes, because it means people arent putting too much pressure
on gymnasts that arent old enough to handle it.
If
you could have changed one thing about your gymnastics in 1999,
what would it be?
Nothing, Im happy about last year.
What
are you major goals and aims for 2000?
To do well in Nationals, and to compete in the Junior Commonwealth
Games.
Have
you recently upgraded any of your skills and/or routines for 2000?
No, not yet.
Which
competitions do you have scheduled for 2000 so far?
Nationals in February and then Canada in March Montreal
for 10 days then Sarnia for 7.
What
have you been up to during the holidays and Christmas?
Having fun and going out.
Do
you have any other interesting goals in life for the year 2000?
Doing well in school, sorry not very interesting. Having fun.
Who
and what do you consider as your main motivation for continuing
the hard training?
Friends and family.
For
how long do you anticipate staying in gymnastics?
Until 2004 hopefully.
What
do the senior gymnasts in the gym mean to you? How much do they
motivate you to achieve bigger and better things? Is there anyone
in particular that you look up to?
I look up to all of them I suppose. Theyre great friends
and inspire me to go places and compete well.
