In remembrance of you: From Grandma Lesperance and Grandpa Austin

This site is dedicated to the memory of our two grandsons, Dylan and Cole Glebke.

Dylan and Cole were killed in a horrible accident, just hours after their prom. What should have been a wonderful memory for these two brothers turned into a memorial instead.

The boys were killed in a tragic accident, along with two of their dear friends. The drunk who caused the accident died also, so he will never have to face up to what he did.

My daughter Lisa had a boy (Kenny) and a girl (Sarah) when she met Dale Glebke. Dale had two boys (Dylan and Cole) and a girl (Amber). It wasn't long after they met that they found themselves wanting to join their families together and be one. Then they had another girl (Shilah). Their family was now complete and they were very happy together.

There were the usual problems of a blended family, but Dale loved Lisa's children and adopted them both. The kids slowly blended together and became one very happy family. Dale's children lived with their mother Pam in Neillsville, Wi but visited as often as they were allowed to. After a few years they were all becoming not only friends but truly brothers and sisters.

All of the family are Christian and they all loved God and worshipped him, both individually and separately.

Then at three o'clock in the morning after the prom, it all ended because some drunk, who was awaiting trial for his second drunk driving offense, got behind the wheel of a deadly missile that he was incapable of controlling. Both vehicles burst into flames on impact, killing all five people involved.

This should never have happened. One DUI is a mistake. A second is downright criminal, and a third is murder. The drivers license, and car should both have been taken away after the second arrest.

Now what is left, a family in tears, heartbroken, shattered beyond belief. A loving step mother torn to tears. A father crushed and hurting deeply. A family questioning God, wanting to know why!.

God did not take those boys, a godless America took them. A supreme court that cannot tell the difference between a notion of separation of church and state and what the constitution and it's amendments really mean. A legislature took them, one that cannot put teeth in the drunken driving laws because their attorney friends would not make any money it they did. A sick society took them, one in which people joke and brag about beating the rap when they finally get arrested for drunken driving. Sick lawyers who brag about their ability to get the case thrown out or only getting a slap on the wrist.

What has happened to America. The Supreme Court has happened. God has been removed from our lives, from  our schools, from our public places, and God has left our nation to flounder and try to find itself again. This nation was founded under God or have we all forgotten that!

2 Chr 7,14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Maybe if enough people see this page and think about what has happened these children will not have died in vain.
