Where do I begin.....
…….as a kid I grew up having Collies - so I guess my love of the herding breed started at a very young age. Then when Ronnie and I married and started our family we had a variety of mixed breed dogs - all ones that people would give us or we would find on the street or rescue from the Humane Society. I always loved dogs, but was so busy raising my girls that there was little time left for me to follow my heart or interests. After my girls left home I wanted to get another Collie but Ronnie frowned on all the hair (anyone who knows us now knows how funny that really is!!!)

We finally got a chocolate lab and named him "Gish's Chocolate Moose" . A few years later we rescued a yellow Lab from the Hancock County Humane Society and named her Daisy. I began obedience training both Moose and Daisy at Indy K-9 Kollege where I met Gale Rempel. Gale was training her Australian Shepherd "Tilly" who I totally fell in love with and vowed to one day be owned by my very own Aussie. I owe my introduction to the wonderful word of Aussies and to sheep herding to Gale.
This website is dedicated to all my
friends who have helped me through all of my doggie triumphs, tears and
fears! Thank you Gale Rempel (Thistleridge) for both Rainey and Tessa,
Sandy Cornwell (Fairoaks) for Belle, and and Anne Jesperson (Birch
Hollow) for Hank. We could never have done it without all
of you!
Thank you Michelle, Theresa, Kelly, Rob, Sherry and Lee and Debbie for
all of your support during both good times and bad and thank you for
honoring me with your friendship.
Very Special Thanks also goes to Bob Vest for his patience, his wisdom
and his positive attitude in my herding endeavors. Thanks also goes to
Velma Janek and Dolly Foland for sharing their tricks of the trade in
my obedience training.
