Channel Rules for AfterNET's

#Australia

No ADVERTISING (also known as Spamming) of any type is allowed within the channel as this is a direct breach of AfterNET's Charter and will result in offenders being banned from the channel and may also result in the offender being KILLED or GLINED from the network.

No Swearing, racism or general abussive behavior towards other users or the channel's Bots are allowed.  Please remember that #Australia is Rated G and is therefore suitable for kiddies.  If you wish to swear we ask that you go to a more suitable channel to do so thanks.

Please refrain from using excessive amounts of CAPS in the channel. Using CAPS in IRC usually means you are shouting and is considered to be very rude to most people.

Popups and similar alias files are allowed within the channel as is the use of colours.  We ask that users be curteous in their usage tho.  If you wish to play a large popup in the channel please ask in the channel first if anyone objects to you playing your popups.  Please try not to flood the channel consistently with your popups.

#Australia is not #sex ... it is not a pickup channel so please try and keep the sex talk to a minimum especially if you are aware that kiddies are in the channel.

Please do not repeat within the channel or flood the channel with jibberish text.

Please do not make any references to drugs within #Australia.

Music (mp3's, wav's, midi's etc) are allowed to be played within the channel.  No offensive music please.

No inviting our guests to other channels thanks.  This is considered as another form of ADVERTISING (spamming) and will incur the same penalties as above.

@Channel operators please note you will lose your operator status quickly if you remove bans that were not set by you.  Only Co-owners and above are allowed to use the .uba command within #Australia.  [ removing bans leaves the channel vunerable to trouble makers :(  ]
