A Short Bio

In August 1999, I surfed the Net for the first time and haven't been the same since.  In that time I've built 3 separate websites, founded or helped co-found 5 Yahoo! clubs, and participated in assorted other projects.  I'm constantly amazed at the potential for building world-wide community that the Internet offers us, and I hope to continue putting these resources to good use.
UPDATE: With a new Pentium 4, things are sooo much better!

I've been on my Wiccan spiritual path (officially) for 15 years, and have studied the religions of the world for many years before that.  Although a dedicated and degreed Eclectic in my personal beliefs, I am currently studying for degrees in Gardnerianism.

UPDATE: I've left the Gardnerian Trad to return to Shamanic Eclectic work, where my heart lies.  I did finish First Degree, but it was not for me.  I've taken on 2 students who are good friends as well.  I also participate in a Pagan Elders research and scholarship group, and have started teaching in workshops again.  I got my coven ordination and my state ministers license, and am now able to perform legal weddings.

I love any type of needlework and ethnic food, classic cars, furbabies of all descriptions, and I work with an animal rescue group in my area.  I thrive at living the woodswoman lifestyle, in a remote forested area with all my animals around me daily.  My garden is organic, and I grow some herbs.

UPDATE: I branched out to a city garden as well, behind the boyfriend's house, with less space, but more sun.  Both gardens produced better this year than ever!

I'm a Sagittarian, Moon in Libra, Cancer ascendant, and have worked at many different jobs: bartender, bass player, secretary, artist in many mediums.  Guess what my favorite colors are?  Black and purple, and I thank Soljourner for creating this gorgeous wallpaper just for me.

My current passion is mehndi, a 9,000 year old art form which involves painting the skin with intricate designs using henna, an organic green paste that stains the skin a dark red/brown.  Visit any henna or mehndi site to see some details, since my page isn't ready yet.

UPDATE: the website STILL isn't finished - there just isn't enough time ever.... but it's in the works.

That's it for now.

Blessed be.
