Being a teacher is not easy. Well, the teaching part is half of the job. The other part is the preparation. To make life more interesting, being a teacher can lead a person to discover more about life and about the world.

This page is designed to share some information about education and the subjects that I am teaching in my university. I was a teaching staff of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and was attached to a very special campus of UTM - the Military Academy of Malaysia. However, this military academy was upgraded to become a University, the National Defence University of Malaysia in November 2006. Students here will earn a professional degree and at the same time they will be guaranteed a place with the Malaysian Army, Malaysian Royal Navy or Malaysian Royal Air Force. I am now serving in the Centre for Liberal and Language Studies at this youngest public university in Malaysia.

I graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) where I received my first and second degree. Prior to becoming a lecturer, I was an Assistant Registrar with the Public Relations Office, UKM. I gained a lot of knowledge and exposure from the job where I was in charge of the International Affairs. Also, I was once with Multimedia University, Malacca Campus. I lectured two years there - Technical Communication for Engineering and IT students. I was also involved in the Smart School Project through EduTrend and Enershia , companies that produce the English courseware for the project. I was a Content Writer and managed to write three lessons for each company.

In this life, I do find several activities relaxing. Most of the time, I enjoy reading and dancing. I am a part time dancing instructor in UKM. I love traditional dances of Malaysia because they give me a peace of mind after a tiring day. Besides that, my family plays an important role in my life. Though my parents are no longer with me, I always find their love and spirit in me. My husband plays a large role too. He is always there for me and for that, I have achieved self development and fulfillment, though not yet completely.

It is not enough though if I were to tell the story of my country in a page. Thus, I have taken this opportunity to introduce or reintroduce Malaysia to you. There are many interesting places to visit in Malaysia. Join and enjoy some of the most exotic experiences that can only be found in Malaysia.
