CHRISTMAS TIME

Christmas time is for thinking
Of happy times we've had,
Of what you really mean to me
And makes my heart feel glad.
For I know I love you dearly,
With a love that's firm and true.
And I know that whatever happens
My love will stay sure for you.


Christmas time is for giving
Of gifts and of good cheer.
Of feelings and understanding,
And sharing with loved ones dear.
And I give my love quite freely
Without strings or any reward,
For I feel our love can bind us
With an everlasting cord.


Christmas time is for togetherness
And binding hearts as one,
Of being close together now
And healing hurts that were done.
For I want to be with you my love
Through whatever will arise,
And then be together for always
When we gain our eternal prize.


Christmas time is for praying
That all this can be done.
That we can love and be together
And these goals can surly be won.
