`Just for Brian

How long since did I write in sweet melodic tone
And meld my feelings into words so sweet?
To tell of the joy that dwells in my being,
More that just heart, for love has grown
Beyond that boundary and spread afar.
Love seems too small and insufficient
To express what I feel within my human frame,
One day I may find a phrase human expressions bar,
Then write in voluminous pages my pure, sweet joy
Of having you, to have and to hold for ever.
The look in your eyes brings me delight and peace,
Your strong hands comfort and calm employ.
So never let me fall from grace or willingly do wrong,
For I want you forever and that’s my sweet love song.
