IN GOD WE TRUST

Cast away all worries, cast away all doubt,
Trust in the Lord, He know’s what life’s all about.
He has trod the path of sorrow, fought off all sin,
Open up your broken heart, let the Saviour in.

When your burden is heavy, and the going uphill,
Count these as blessings, for that is Father’s will.
However rough the road, or rugged the path,
Remember our eternal prize is all that God hath.

When loved ones from the safety of the fold do stray,
Remember the lost sheep, guide them, continually pray,
And one day, it may be at the very end of their days,
They’ll return to the fold and remember His ways.

So trust in the Lord with your strength and might,
If you follow Him, you will always do what’s right.
No path is ever too dark and no way unknown
To those who have the seed of true faith sewn.
