HAS A WAY
Satan has a way of making everything seem good,
Sin looks like a fair garden, a serpent hidden within
Coiled to strike, deception, poison, innocent blood,
Tiny little things that are not bad, not really sin.
Lets just think of Sunday, instead of going to church
You say you can worship Him fishing on a lake,
You are not forsaking God or leaving Him in the lurch,
But appreciate His beauty, and true reverence make.
We love each other very much, to love is no crime,
We can stay together and have a family so dear,
We are not committing any sin, we’ll marry in time,
Everyone does it so we have no need to fear.
The boss is away so we can shirk and play,
Take an extra long lunch, write a letter or two,
Who will know? It will be a real rest day,
Do not be different, you join in the fun too.
The list could go on and the small sins pile high
As Satan guides us through his garden fair,
But stand up for the right, aim for the sky,
Think of the Saviour for He’s always there.
Watching each action, leading with care
Sending out warnings, teaching the way
To avoid the deception of Satan’s lair,
So we can return to His presence one day.
