DAILY STRUGGLES

Have you ever had a day go by
When there were no choices to make?
Be mean or kind, tell the truth or a lie,
Be thoughtful or always on the take.

Struggles may vary as we journey along,
Satan wants us to fail, make the wrong choice
Tell’s us it’s hard to be good, fun to do wrong,
But always stop and listen to that still small voice.

Each daily struggle will give us the power
To turn away Satan’s wish to destroy
The peace and the love that flows every hour,
When we overcome evil and know God’s joy.

Let us turn away Satan day after day
Never give up trying the good to show,
Try to doo good, always find time t o pray
And the blessing of heaven will always flow.
