REMEMBERING

Can you remember when we were young, the fun we used to have?
Can you remember the hiking days, walking along in single file?
Can you remember us holding hands hurrying on to get back home
When we were there not wanting to part, staying a little while.

Can you remember the day you proposed, the day I said yes?
The joy in my heart I thought then was truly full, but then
We married and became as one, then I really knew of true joy
For the more I got to know you, the more blessed I became.

Can you remember us in His house for the very first time?
The quite hush of the temple, our two girls by our side
I can still feel your hand on mine and theirs also entwined
As we were sealed for all eternity,in Gods home to abide.

I can remember the joys we have shared, that made our love grow
And as the years slip onward and the older and wiser we become
It helps us both to realize, the wonderful gift that we share
Love that is cherished now,and will be in our heavenly home.
