BLESSED IS THE MAN
Jeremiah 17: 7
We are told that blessed is the man who trusts in his Lord,
Think, that man would be free from all worry in every way,
Blessed indeed he who trusts in God’s holy, sacred word,
For he will be free from all fear and strife every single day.
Do I trust in the Lord enough to be blessed, free from fear?
Trust Him enough to always be willing to blindly obey?
Know that whatever I do in His name for good, He will hear,
There to always guide me along the road and not be lead astray ?
Then Jeremiah does on to tell us in words so kind and true,
That we need hope in our Lord, that’s sums up life you see,
For if in Him we trust, and our hope in Him shines through,
We will be striving with all our might like Him to be.
Bless us all dearest God in they heaven’s glory above,
That we may trust and hope in thee as we constantly aim
To be worthy of all the blessings given by thee in true love,
And as we trust and obey, help us stay free from sin’s pain.
