GLORY TO HIS NAME
First Chron 16:29 Do we ever give true glory to His sacred holy name?
Do we offer ourselves to Him, try to forget earthy gain?
Is our worship of Him really praise enough to show
As through this glorious world of ours we so freely go?

What offering can I bring to my great God and king?
What gifts, I who am so weak, can I to Him bring?
If I praise Him when I rise and all the day through,
It would not be enough for my gratitude to renew.

Even if I serve Him with all my strength and might
It would not be enough for the gift of His pure light,
For the beauty of the world, for sweet family love,
It will take eternity to thank Him, in His realms above.

But I will serve Him every day, show gratitude constantly,
Try and be a good example, help some soul from sin be free,
Pray always for forgiveness try and for Him alone to shine,
Then pray too to be purified by His wonderful sacrifice divine.

I will try and always give full glory to His sacred name,
Stand up for my Saviour, speak boldly, never show shame,
May my worship of my Lord show my unworthy love
And pray that I may truly worship Him in heaven above.
