WHEN A MAN’S WAYS
Prov: 16:7.
\When a man’s ways please the lord,
Blessings come, feeling God’s word,
Feel His countenance smile upon you,
Know of His love all life through.
Even enemies will be at peace with him,
Freed from cruel wars unearthly din.
Then an enemy can become a friend,
Slowly day by day transgression end.
What ways of man please God above?
How can we learn of His great love?
If we listen and His words always obey,
He will lead and guide us every single day.
Be willing to listen to the still small voice,
Always stop and make the wiser choice,
Show mercy and love to all that you meet,
Sit still and learn at our dear Saviours feet.
A man’s heart that is pure, loving and kind,
Who in others will some good always find,
Have understanding as long as you live,
Of yourself be always willing to freely give.
Then the ways of that person will please the Lord,
He will always want to listen to God’s holy word,
Then the love and glory and God’s great power
Will constantly on him continually, gently shower.
