TEST OF TIME
Will I pass the test of time,
Will a glory crown be mine,
Will I quietly sit at Jesus feet,
As all my family lovingly meet?

Or will I fail the test of time,
Fall short of the goal divine,
Not have the strength win,
But be overcome by sin?

Help me pass the test of time,
Help God’s Kingdom to be mine,
Endure with kindness and love,
All the struggles to reach Him above.

The path will not be easy though
As through this life we have to go,
But Jesus is there pointing the way,
All we have to do is listen and obey.

I will pass the test of time I know
Because the dear Lord loves me so,
I’ll strive so hard to do His will,
For I remember Calvary’s hill.
